Patrice Andrews

Patrice Andrews spent over 40 years working in television. With creative and executive management roles at cable networks including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, and A+E to running ITV Studios America’s New York production office for a dozen years, Patrice dedicated her career to non-fiction entertainment. While working with Discovery networks, she produced countless programs chronicling animals in their natural habitats, with the pinnacle being an Imax film about African elephants called Africa’s Elephant Kingdom. Her creative oversight throughout her career has spanned cable programming in all genres from home makeovers to crime & justice and everything in between.

Patrice’s career allowed her to travel around the world on countless adventures while calling Washington, DC, and New York City home. She and her husband discovered Beaufort, South Carolina while escaping the chilly north and have enjoyed the Lowcountry and all it has to offer in the winter months. Patrice is currently working on her third chapter in retirement and recently moved to Richmond, Virginia and is looking forward to exploring the River City. She is an avid reader and gardener and loves to cook.
