Growing up in New England and later living in New Hampshire, I always had a passion for animals with a special fondness for horses. This enthusiasm has led me to be involved in animal rescue for over 23 years. In addition to my career in upper-level management for a high-end retail establishment, I joined the Board of Directors for one of the largest equine and animal rescues in New England. During my tenure, we expanded the rescue to include an animal shelter with dogs and cats serving approximately 1,500 animals per year.
I have held many roles in advanced protocols of the operations of running a large rescue and sanctuary. I firmly believe that animals bring out the best in people, offer hope to those in need, and provide healing that is undeniable. I reside in Beaufort with my beloved dog Baily, two rescue horses, and too many cats to count! Working for a Fortune 500 company, I look forward to bringing my unrelenting passion for animal welfare and my vast experience and knowledge to Palmetto Animal League as I continue to support the field of animal rescue, which I love so dearly.
