What’s so wonderful about Pita? Everything! This sweet, playful, silly, loving, 2-year-old boy is going to bring so much joy to some lucky family. He’s one of the happiest dogs in the world, and he greets each new day with such hope and wonder, it inspires us all. It’s impossible to be in a bad mood when you’re with him. Review PAL’s Adoption Process below:

Step 1: Call 843-645-1725 to set up an appointment to meet our pets and find your new best friend Monday through Saturday 12-6pm.
Step 2: Fill out the Adoption Application and turn it in to staff. (We do not accept applications until Step 1 is complete and you are ready to commit.)
Step 3: Interview with an Adoption Administrator to make sure you and your desired pet are the perfect match.
Step 4: Once the Adoption Application is approved, pay the adoption fee and receive your paperwork and a sample of his/her food.
Step 5: If your pet is ready to go he/she will be brought out to you. All cats will need to leave in a cat carrier and dogs will be provided with a lead. We hope that you will allow us to commemorate your adoption by posing for an adoption photo with your new family member, for us to share on social media.
*Adoption Administrators review applications Monday through Saturday 12-6pm. Same day application approval is common but some applications may take longer.
