Adoption Center
Adoption Fees
Adoption fees ensure that all PAL animals are microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Additional animals (when adopted together) are 30% off.
Adoption Process
Step 1: Visit our adoptable pets Monday through Saturday from 12-6pm. Appointments are preferred for dogs so our team can spend time helping each adopter. Please call 843-645-1725 to schedule.
Step 2: Complete the cat or dog adoption application (above) and submit to staff either in person or by email at info@palmettoanimalleague.org.
Step 3: Interview with one of our Adoption Specialists to make sure you and your desired pet are a good match.
Step 4: Once your Adoption Application is approved, you may pay the adoption fee and receive your paperwork and a sample of his/her food.
Step 5: If your pet is ready to go home, he/she will be brought out to you. All cats will need to leave in a cat carrier and dogs will be provided with a lead. Applications can usually be approved on the same day and are reviewed Monday-Saturday from 12-5pm. Some applications make take longer.
