 Pizzapallooza Party to Benefit PAL - Friday, May 17th
Pizzapalooza will be held at The Bluffton Oyster Factory Park on Friday Night, May 17th, from 5:00 until 9:30. Local restaurants will serve up their signature pies and pastas while a craft beer garden while feature a wide assortment of beers from around the world.  Read more...
 Bid for PAL – Thank You!
The Palmetto Animal League’s recent 4th annual “BID for PAL” online auction was, once again, a huge success, raising over $30,000, which will be used to support PAL’s rescue, rehabilitation and adoption programs at its Adoption Center in the Riverwalk Business Park. We are very grateful for the community’s enthusiastic response to this fund raising event, especially the 300 registered bidders that participated and the 520 donated items we received from our generous donors.  Merlin Updates and Info
A sanitation worker was about to empty a dumpster when he heard a noise. He looked inside and saw box, taped with duct tape, that had something moving in it. In the box, was a 4 week old Pitbull terrier puppy, with a wire wound tightly around his front right leg, which because of the wire, was dead and rotting. Palmetto Animal League removed the leg and saved the pup’s life.This is his continuing journey… More Info...

 The World’s Most Interesting Cat
His unique look and personality make Chris one of the more interesting personalities we have had the pleasure of meeting at PAL. Chris came to PAL from a hoarders environment when he was just six weeks old. He is now just over 2 years old and is ready to leave the Adoption Center nest. Chris is stunning to behold but was painfully shy. This cat has been successfully socialized with people of all ages, other cats and dogs. He is not going to be a lap cat (not yet!) but he loves to be petted and is very playful. If you would like to adopt him: Click Here!
